UPDATE: MDC HAS CANCELLED THIS PROGRAM/EVENT TO HELP PROTECT THE PUBLIC AMID ONGOING CORONAVIRUS (COVID-19) CONCERNS.

ASH GROVE, Mo. – An increasing number of people are becoming interested in archery. The first step of getting involved in archery is to get equipment that’s best suited for you.

Individuals can learn more about how to get started in archery at the free Missouri Department of Conservation (MDC) program “Learning Archery: Bow Selection, Care, and Cleaning” March 19 at MDC’s Andy Dalton Shooting Range and Outdoor Education Center in Greene County. This free program will be from 6:30 p.m.-9:30 p.m. People can register for this program at https://mdc-event-web.s3licensing.com/Event/EventDetails/171218

Topics covered at this seminar include what to look for when purchasing a bow and other archery equipment and how to care for that equipment.
