COLUMBIA, Mo. — The Missouri Department of Conservation (MDC) will host an intermediate fly tying clinic in Jefferson City on March 26.  This FREE Discover Nature – Fishing workshop will build on the basics of fly tying and participants will explore new materials, techniques, and patterns.

“Have you tied flies before and want to take the next step,” asked MDC Naturalist Sam Stewart. “Join us as we take the next step in fly tying. This will be a fun and challenging new tying adventure!”

This clinic will take place from 5:30–7:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 26, at Runge Conservation Nature Center, 330 Commerce Drive in Jefferson City.

All equipment will be provided for this FREE course, though participants should bring reading glasses if they require them.

This workshop is free and open to ages 12+. Space is limited and preregistration is required at mdc-event-web.s3licensing.com/Event/t/171632.
