KIRKWOOD, Mo. — Due to winter weather advisories for tomorrow and tomorrow evening, the Missouri Department of Conservation (MDC) is rescheduling the program featuring MDC photographer Noppadol Paothong at Powder Valley Conservation Nature Center in Kirkwood.

The program, An Evening with Noppadol Paothong, originally scheduled for this Friday, Jan. 17 has been rescheduled for Friday, Feb. 21 at 7 p.m. at the nature center. All pre-registrations for the original program date will automatically be carried over to the new Feb. 21 date. Advanced registration is still required to attend the new date for those who did not register for the original presentation.

Anyone already pre-registered and not able to attend on Feb. 21 is requested to go online and cancel their reservation to open a spot so someone else can attend. Call Powder Valley at 314-301-1500 for more information or assistance.

The National Weather Service is forecasting potentially heavy rain, snow, freezing rain, and sleet for most of the day Friday and into the evening for the St. Louis area.

“We don't take these decisions lightly and apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, but we want everyone to be safe,” said Powder Valley Conservation Nature Center Manager Tamie Yegge. “We hope to see you on February 21 at 7 p.m.”
