Now that you have harvested the buck of your dreams, do you know how to prepare it properly to take it to the taxidermist. There are several different ways to preserve the hide so that the taxidermist can make your deer come to life on your wall. Learn the proper steps to go from the field to the taxidermist. Anyone under age 16 MUST be accompanied by an adult.

With teal season starting next month it's important to be prepared to hunt for one of the fastest waterfowl in Missouri! We’ll go over what types of teal you can expect to see and the equipment and decoys that will make your hunt a success. Bring your shotgun, 4 boxes of #7 steel shot, and warm-up for dove season. We’ll create typical hunting scenarios to practice your wingshooting for the September 1st opener.

Join us to learn the most effective methods for dove hunting. We will discuss the biology of the bird and then teach how to shoot using the Effective Wing Shooting for the Hunter techniques. We will discuss using decoys and how to use concealment to your benefit. If you plan to use your own, bring a minimum of 50 rounds of new ammunition for your firearm. Make sure all firearms are unloaded before arriving at the range. There should be no live ammunition, or uncased firearms inside the classroom. Please leave all firearms in the vehicle until the class is dismissed including all concealed carry handguns and magazines.

This class will be the complete guide to using all methods of bow and arrow including, long bow, compound, crossbow, and atlatl and more. We will shoot each method in hunting like situations, be prepared to be outside for this class.

Deer hunting is challenging and rewarding at the same time. It’s not just about getting dressed up in camouflage and climbing in a deer stand or ground blind. It starts long before opening day. This class will start at the beginning. In this class, we will discuss rifle/ammo selection, dressing for the hunt, methods of hunting, scouting, animal identification, sighting in your rifle, and more. This is not a shooting class.
